Are You Ready For Some Football?…well, no actually

So, the football season started today. Now i like football as much as the next guy, but does anyone else feel that it is not right for football season to start at 4:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday?
No. Football should start on a Sunday morning. You should go to bed that Saturday night like a kid on Christmas Eve, all giddy and unable to sleep thinking about all the presents you are about to receive the next day. And Monday Night Football is like the leftover turkey sandwich you look forward to after Christmas.
So, in summary, i don’t like opening football season on Thursday…nope…not one bit…
