A part of me passionately wishes this were true. Wouldn’t that be awesome?

Whatever Bending time to my will, YouTube saves the day (again)

Here are some of my favorite Irish exports in the world of Music:

1. U2 – Duh. One of the most powerful performances by any band, anywhere, at any time.

2. The Cranberries – Did you know that including them in blog was part of my marriage vows? It’s true. Still, this is one of my favorite songs of theirs and most likely in the “of all time” list as well.

3. Enya – She’s not for everyone, but I’m sure if everyone gave her a try, they might find a song they liked. I adore her “Sheppard Moons” album and if you’re in need of some help sleeping, your search for an aid has ended. One of the comments for this video states that “Enya’s songs sound like dreams” and I couldn’t agree more.

4. Sinead O’Connor – We all know about “Nothing Compares 2 U” but may I humbly submit the following song that my cohorts’ wife introduced to me and I was so moved by it that I imagine that it will be with me for the rest of my days. Excellent, excellent song.

5. U2 – Yeah, twice. Whatcha gonna do about it? Plus this version of the song owns.
